The first meeting of the Romanian Evaluation Informal Network (Evalrom) was held on the 4th of August 2006 at Residence Hotel, Bucharest. The meeting was co-facilitated by Prof. Ross Conner, president of the International Organisation for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) and Ms. Mihaela Lambru, member of the Romanian Sociologists' Association. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the opportunity and utility of a professional association in evaluation in Romania. Also, the participants agreed the activities of the network for the near future.
